3 KEY ELEMENTS OF CONCEALED CARRY
KEY ELEMENTS... The thought occurred to me that everything we do should be done with a purpose. Purpose gives us the means to want to strategize and achieve our goal or conquer a mission.
Before leaving the house and exploring my environment today, 3 words popped into my head pertaining to concealed carry and the act of carrying; versatility, accessibility, & maneuverability. Without a good understanding of the purpose, we may find ourselves under-prepared or over-prepared which can cause an undesirable outcome.
The old saying goes, It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. This begs the question, do I need the kitchen sink? This was an issue for me starting out, the desire to be prepared for every obstacle under the sun. Which in hindsight, was very impossible and unreasonable, it made for a horrible carry experience. Today, everything I carry on me must serve a purpose for my daily mission. I ask the question, how will these item options fit into these three key element listed below.
ver·sa·til·i·ty
ability to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities. (This is a very important element because it reduces the amount of tools or items you would have to carry on you daily. In reducing those additional tools you streamline your function. It also sets the stage for the last two elements. Less junk you can reach the things you need, you'll also be able to move better.)
ac·ces·si·bil·i·ty
the quality of being able to be reached or entered.
ma·neu′ver·a·bil′i·ty
To manipulate into a desired position or toward a predetermined goal
Today, this is what I base my EDC system on if I had to put it into words. If the tools have purchased in the past don't offer these 3 things, chances are it will end up in a drawer somewhere never to see the light again. REMEMBER BE HARD TO KILL AND NEVER DIE!
